Walmart, Sherlock and Ice Cream

February 1st seems like a good day to get back into blogging to me. Our weeks have been fast and our days have been sweet. And today was no exception. We give thanks to God for all His gifts and are humbled as we remember His graces poured out on us. So today I want to remember that...

I slept in Paul's sweatshirt last night.
We woke up early. Well, earlier than he would have liked.
We took a trip to Walmart and picked up a few essentials. Even Walmart is jolly with that man.
The sun was shining most of the day, and we prayed together. I always want to remember that prayer.
We sat outside at lunchtime and listened to the radio.
There were so many clouds passing through and Paul pointed out all the lights and shadows on the mountains. We love those mountains.
It was only in the 60s, but the sunshine felt so warm.
Mom and Dad came through town and I cooked a roast from Trader Joes. It was a hit!
We watched the first episode of Sherlock, and most of the second.
Paul brought me ice cream with cinnamon - my favorite.

Maybe small things to some, but they are the details that make this life beautiful to me.
