My sweet designer friend, Betsy, inspired me to start creating an online portfolio! I had the day off of school today thanks to Veteran's Day, so I dedicated most of my morning to getting my online site up and running. It's not quite ready for viewing yet as a lot of my work is on my computer at school, but once I feel comfortable with it I will definitely post the link :) Here is a snapshot so far:
I know I'm still just learning Graphic Design, but I thought it couldn't hurt to start organizing my work in a way that's easy to view so that when the time comes to start looking for a job or freelance work, I will already be ahead of the game! I am using a website called carbonmade.com and they have such an easy to use platform already set up. Someday (after I take my web class... ahhh coding!) I might be able to put together something a little more custom, but for now this is organized and does the job!
November 11th Thankful For: It's raining outside and I am feeling extra thankful for a safe and dry place to live. Rainy nights always make me think about those who don't have a roof over their heads and so tonight I am humbly grateful that I do. How about you? What are you thankful for today?
