November 10th Thankful For: I am thankful that I am not in control. This is actually really hard for me to say today. I wrote about how God is in control and I am not in an email a little earlier today to a group of friends, and then proceeded to have a conversation this evening where I basically complained and moaned the entire time that I couldn't make things happen. And worse, I hurt someone I really care about because I want so badly to get what I want, when I want. Yuck. So I am hoping to end the day right. And that is to be thankful that I am not in control - because actually I would probably mess most things up were it left up to me. What are you thankful for today?

ReplyDeleteI'm thankful God doesn't treat us as our sins deserve. It's really easy to forget what we really deserve & get caught up in self-entitlement. Thanks for the encouragement this afternoon! Loved it. Keep pressing on sister. xo
ReplyDeletemar! such a hard concept to wrap our minds around - that we are not in control! it is so hard to surrender control to the Lord! i am thankful that nothing is impossible for the Lord to accomplish. Well you have such wise words :) I am loving following your blog deary!
