Today is the birthday of my best friend, Courtney! Our birthdays are about a week apart, so we usually like to celebrate them together. Sadly, we won't be able to do that this year, so I thought I'd post her a special birthday post.
Above you see as at each other's weddings – hers was 3.5 years ago and mine was just 6 months ago. We've been friends since we were 19, and I am so very thankful for her sweet, funny, encouraging, goofy, wild, wise friendship in my life! Through thick and thin of living together in college, graduating, living across the world from each other, new jobs, new life stages, new everything, we've stayed dear friends. Courtney is the life of the party and always makes sure everyone is having a great time. But she's also really sensitive and kind to people's feelings and their hearts. I've watched her grow a lot over the years, and most recently she's entered a new role – motherhood, with the birth of her sweet baby Charlotte last month! Can't wait to see all the Lord has ahead for you, Courtney. I love you so much and miss you lots! xoxo Bonks.
