Molliann Came To Town

We had such a fun week with our friend from Illinois, Molliann in town! She came to Scottsdale for work, and it was such a treat to spend 3 evenings in a row with her. We ate lasagna, played Ticket to Ride (I won), had banana milkshakes, sat by the pool, explored her awesome hotel, brought her along to check out floors and cabinets for the new house, went out for pizza, got frozen yogurt, and spent great hours laughing and catching up.

Paul and I even took advantage of having someone else around to actually take pictures of the two of us together :) <Sidenote, what do you think of my hair? I was trying to pull off the Rockstar Diaries look. Paul thought it was a little to "Princess Lea" but I got some compliments while we were out and about. I'm not sure what I think about it yet.>

We only wish Molliann's husband, Russell, could have come too. The four of us hung out a lot our first 5 months of marriage before we left for AZ, and we realized this week how much we miss their friendship! But we planted seeds for a New Years reunion at our new house with promises to take them skiing and to the pool all in one vacation. So I'm hoping that works out :)
