Welcome to the 90's Mr. Banks

I always think of that quote from one of my all time favorite movies, Father of the Bride, whenever I take some sort of technological step forward. And this past weekend, it was, what I call, a Thanksgiving miracle. Yes, friends, just days ago, Paul and I took a giant leap into the world of smart phones. Say what!? That's right. With his family in town and all of our contracts expiring, we decided to start a new plan. I was grafted in and with the help of my sister in law, we convinced my change-averse husband that smart phones are the way to go. He's so cute. Anyways, Mary was giddy and I was in disbelief as we walked out of the store and into the 21st century. I think Paul will come around though. He already was checking the basketball scores every 10 minutes while watching football games at his internet-less grandparent's house. So I think he'll learn to like it ;) No more iPod Instagramming for me, and no more "we just have dumb phones" jokes for Paul. We're hip. We're cool. We're smart.

So now I'm on the hunt for my new favorite apps. What are your favorites?
