Around Here

1. We got a new table!! This is a very special gift from Paul's grandparents and we are feeling so blessed! Our old table sat no more than 4 people and their plates, so it feels luxurious to be able to seat up to 10 now with the extension in. We can't wait to host Thanksgiving this year!

2. My dear husband brought me home some gorgeous pink roses for our anniversary. He's so sweet.

3 & 4. We spent the weekend up in Prescott and enjoyed the rain and cool weather. Look! Those are blankets and quilts on our bed! I love sleeping under a blanket with the window open. The best.

5 & 6. I made pickles! I turned those cucumbers into pickles and I felt like a magician! I thought they were perfect after 4 days, but Paul wanted to let them sit out one more day. I think next time we'll stick to the 4 day schedule. It's taking some getting used to because we are accustom to the vinegar pickles (these are lacto fermented) but we're eating them down because they're so good for us!

But most exciting around here is we are getting ready to leave on our two week adventure to Europe!! I can't wait to see my friend Pia and explore some new exciting places with Paul. See you in September, blog!
